Celebration Of Childhood - FD Fabulous Friday Triangles Challenge

This is where I wan to write my journalling: "You're a child - my child! You have all your life in front of you and all the possibilities of the world lay beside your feet. Your laughter are true and joy - inexhaustible. The spark of happiness and mischief shines in your eyes. This day is for you - You are so beautiful! I love you, my baby!"
When thinking about triangles in crafting, all that comes into my mind is bunting. So I went looking for a photo that could be "bunted" around and found this lovely pic of my girl in swing at the celebration of childhood. It's something similar to christening except it has nothing to do with Church.
I cut my girl out and hang the swing from the bunting of lots of patterned paper pennants. Well before that I also did lots of misting and printed journalling and sentiments on the edges of paper.
I added smaller bunting in the downs right corner as well - I think I got carried away with making of bunting :)

Have the most wonderful day,

Need A Helping Hand? - Bye Bye Digi Doodle Shop

After a little mix up - here's my last card for the Digi Doodle Shop's Challenges. Unfortunately the owner of the shop has decided to close both shop and challenge blog, but you can still get all those beautiful stamps for just $1 - so hurry up!
I used this lovely Cousin image, that was colored with ProMarkers. I also cut lots of leaves with my Silhouette and inked with various Distress inks. And lots of green and red Stickles were added on them as well. Background was just a scrap paper that I used to test one of my own stamps, but it worked for this card...
Sentiment says "Need A Helping Hand" and was die cut with Spellbinders Parisian Accents die. Underneath that cute boy is a Labels 18 die from glossy alcohol ink stained paper.

Hope you like this quick card and will pay a visit to DDS and take a look at all those wonderful stamps!

Love-full Event - FD: Fabulous Friday - Phones

And here's another Fabulous Friday challenge from Frosted Designs. This week it's all about phones - whether designs or pics of them or the ones taken using them.
I paired this challenge with C.S.I. this weeks challenge. And as one of the investigations evidence call for use of sun, I started with drawing rays of sun using yellow watercolor pastel crayon and then applying water on it. I did lots of stamping with Distress inks, acrylic paint and even globs of structural paste.
I chose to scrap two of my dearest photos. These two were taken using my very first phone with camera. The quality is simply dreadful, but those memories immortalized - simply priceless. This are very first photos with my hubby and me way back in year 2005 when we started dating.
I made a cluster of cut-out and paper flowers. I added some teal acrylic paint on white flowers and a nice, large rhinestone.
My journalling says: "How magical are those random moments, when you understand that this is your one and true love. Our first photos together. Vadik's apartment; my phone; year 2005."
Most of the cut-out elements came from the C.S.I. matching printables. You can get them for free when you've become member of C.S.I. I so love this "Life is so randomly beautiful" sentiment!
I like these small torn "pockets of wonders" you can create by folding back torn paper - they're so cute and fun!
Here's the incredible Case File from C.S.I:

I wish you all the love of the world,

For My Little Schoolgirl - DDS Challenge Handmade Flowers

My little - or maybe now I should say big girl, received this card in her first school day. This card is also this weeks Digi Doodle shop's Challenge of handmade flowers.
These flowers were made in the flower rosette style - cut strip of various width petals and then rolled up. I have several other designs for this style of flowers and hope to make them soon enough to be able to purchase them as cutting files from my etsy shop.
these were inked with yellow Distress ink.
And this lovely girl is actually just a part of the wonderful Stick Figures image from DDS shop! and the best part is - it's free for you to get. And while you're there and getting this goody - remember to get some other stamps as well - well they are for jut 1$ a piece!!!!
I also used a bunch of washi tapes that came as freebies with PaperCrafts Inspirations magazine some time ago.

Hope school days have started quite the fun way for you,

Sad News...

I still can't believe that Judy has decided to close the doors of this wonderful shop and Digi Doodle Shops Challenges. But as the life goes you have to put yourself and the ones close by you in the first place, so I wish her all the best in achieving her new goals.
As for me - I will miss this challenge as it was my first DT to be accepted to and everyone I have met there are the most amazing people there are.

I really wish you all could step by the Digi Doodle Shop and take a good look at all those wonderful stamps - at a 1$ price it is such a good deal!

Believe that all is for the good,
