Hey, hey - it's Thursday and it's time for DDS challenge and this time with the animals theme. I have chosen this absolutely adorable Hoot Owl from Birds category.
I have kept this card rather simple - just two patterned papers with hand-cut scalloped border and faux stitching. All the space is left for that lovely birdie! Which of course is colored with my ProMarkers and Copics.
I also draw a quickie speech bubble with a sentiment in it and did some slight shading on it as well.
This card actually by now should be traveling all the way to the Netherlands to Hanneke, as part as her birthday blog candy/challenge. She is really so sweet and supportive, so I would suggest you to head over her blog and whip up a card for her as well!
